Guided by excellence, AgeSMART was created to help seniors and their families navigate the unique challenges of aging independently with coordinated in-home senior care and support services.

For many older adults, maintaining their independence does not require medical care. Often, the right kind of daily support is all it takes for seniors to continue living independently while staying connected to the lives and communities they love.
AgeSMART was created to offer a different approach to supporting seniors and their families throughout Salt Lake County, one that is thoughtful, dependable, and centered around real needs. We understand how important it is for families to spend time with aging loved ones without the never ending stress of managing day-to-day needs. Our focus is easing the burden of coordination so seniors can remain comfortable and independent at home while families enjoy more meaningful time together.
My passion for serving seniors is shaped by both my professional and personal life. For more than two decades, I’ve served in county, regional, and statewide leadership roles supporting people in need. At the same time, my deep love and respect for my parents have shown me the profound importance of maintaining independence as we age.
I’m grateful to have built a life that keeps time with my parents at the center, and in those moments, I see the subtle shifts as they grow older. Tasks once taken for granted, such as driving, keeping up with technology, doing yard work, climbing stairs, and even managing their health care, don’t come as easily now. They have doctors they’ve trusted for years who know them well, yet the stress of driving weighs on them so heavily that they are now choosing medical providers closer to home who don’t know them. This is heartbreaking for me. I want the quality of their care, not distance, to guide these decisions.
I’ve also witnessed the emotional toll these changes bring, stirring feelings of insecurity, worry, and anxiety that affect both me and my parents. These realizations are sobering, especially while juggling everyday responsibilities. I don’t
want time with my parents to be limited to care coordination or a checklist of tasks. I want to continue enjoying weekly dinners with them, laughing during visits, and helping them hold onto their independence for as long as possible — for both our sakes. I created AgeSMART to help seniors and families navigate the real challenges of aging with the same love, respect, and care I want for my own parents. Aging can be complicated, but the solutions don’t have to be. Independence matters, connection matters, and both deserve to be protected with heart and excellence.
Often people think of senior care as only personal care, helping with tasks such as grooming, meal preparation, or getting dressed, but our mission is much broader. We support the details of daily living that make true senior independence possible. Whether it’s errands and administrative tasks, coordinating home maintenance, supporting safety, or providing daily living assistance, we’re here to support it all. Guided by a deep commitment to excellence
and compassion, we help seniors live fully, with the freedom, connection, and confidence they deserve.
For families, our mission is to offer peace of mind, knowing their loved one is active, engaged, and supported in the ways that matter most. My team and I would be honored to be part of that support for you and your loved one when
the time is right.
With gratitude and commitment,

AgeSMART Senior Solutions
Caring for my mom slowly turned into a never ending to do list. Every visit meant another repair, another call to make, another thing I needed to remember. Now, when something needs to be fixed, I send a quick text to AgeSMART and they take it from there. It's made so much difference in how I spend time with my mom.
